All Masons are welcome to attend. Dress is coat and tie.

The speakers for the October 23, 2010 meeting of the Academy will be:
Christopher Hodapp, author and filmmaker. Among others, Hodapp's books include Freemasonry for Dummies, Deciphering The Lost Symbol, Solomon's Builders: Freemasons, Founding Fathers and the Secrets of Washington, D.C., and The Templar Code For Dummies.

R. William Weisberger, Professor of Humanities and Social Service at Butler County Community College and Adjunct Professor of History at the University of Pittsburgh. Weisberger is an author, scholar and reviewer of books and articles on Masonic subjects.
Twice a year the Academy meets at Elizabethtown, at which time two of the world's best scholars usually address the meeting on a Masonic subject in their field of expertise. The Academy meetings are open to any Mason who wishes to attend.

Through the Spring of 2010, more than 36 of these scholars have addressed our meetings, on many diverse Masonic subjects, some of the historic nature with others of present-day relevance. We encourage you to take advantage of this unique opportunity to learn from the great Masonic minds in today's world.

The great objective in Freemasonry is to gain useful knowledge, and the Academy provides a great opportunity for the Brethren to learn and to understand more about the significance of the Craft. Plan to attend and bring a Brother or two along with you

Pre-registration is required. To pre-register simply E-mail Brother Jim Standish with your name, address, Lodge number, telephone number, and e-mail address, or, send this same information to Brother Jim Standish at: 1 Pierce Court, Glen Mills, PA 19342-1787.

The Spring 2011 meeting of the Academy is scheduled for Saturday, March 19, 2011 and the Fall 2011 meeting will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2011, both at Freemason Cultural Center in Elizabethtown, PA. The speakers will be announced later in the year.
